A folly is typically a building with no practical purpose, however this whimsical structure is designed to delight, and offers a great view of the Garden and a nice place for a photo. Constructed of Manitoba Tyndall stone, this award-winning folly was funded by a private donation.

Calla Pond and Grebe Wetland
These wetland areas were created in the 1970’s to deal with issues of flooding at the Garden, resulting in picturesque bodies of water teeming with wetland life.

David Thompson House
Constructed with a donation from the St. David’s Welsh Society of Edmonton, the David Thompson House is a quaint wooden structure where visitors can learn a few facts about explorer David Thompson.
Millie Gilbertson Gazebo
A quiet sheltered spot to sit a moment and enjoy the view, the Millie Gilbertson Gazebo is named after a woman who was instrumental in fostering and developing the DBG Crafters Association, among her many contributions to the Garden.
